Happy Nappies

In line with the British Standard released by the British Standards Institute (PAS 520), our nappy policy has been in place since 1st January 2016.  

The standard requires all children under the age of 4 must wear a double nappy system. This consists of either a disposable or reusable swim nappy, plus a reusable neoprene nappy worn on top (commonly known as a Happy Nappy). This rule applies to all children under 4 who are not fully toilet trained for at least 3 months.

Happy Nappy Options: 

We stock the Happy Nappy Duo, which combines both layers in one (a built-in reusable nappy with the neoprene Happy Nappy over the top). This means there is no need for a disposable swim nappy underneath.

Important Notes:

• Children without an approved Happy Nappy will unfortunately be refused entry to the pool.
• Normal nappies are not suitable for swimming as they absorb water and can burst in the pool.
• If you choose to purchase from another provider, please check with us first, as not all alternatives are approved. Nappy covers without the wide stretch waist and leg bands (e.g., frilly covers) do not meet the standard and will not prevent accidents.
