Can we watch our child's lesson?
Not every lesson. 1 parent/guardian per swimmer can watch the last 20 minutes of their child's lesson on the last week of term
Do you offer taster sessions?
Unfortunately due to our waiting list and limited pool availability, taster sessions is not something we can offer.
Do I have to go in with my child?
Yes, little ones need to be accompanied by an adult until they turn 3 years old.
Can both parents go in the pool with little one?
Due to numbers in the pool, we can only allow one adult per child but you are more than welcome to alternate each week.
What do they need to wear?
Little ones will need to wear a Happy Nappy over their disposable swim nappy until they are toilet trained for at least 3 months.
Swimming costumes/swimming trunks are optional but must be worn over their Happy Nappy.
Do I need to bring any swimming aids?
We have all the swimming aids children will need
What happens if we miss a lesson?
If you are unable to attend a lesson due to illness, holiday etc unfortunately we will not be able to offer a 'catch up' class as you book onto the space rather than per lesson.
Do I get a refund if lessons are cancelled?
If the pool is closed for any reason (such as a breakdown or water is too cold for lessons), we will do our utmost to put a catch up session on during the half terms instead and credits/refunds cannot be issued as we are still required to pay for pool hire/staffing etc.
Does my child get a swimming badge?
Yes, we assess 3 times per year; before Easter holidays, before Summer holidays and before Christmas holidays.
Do you teach children with additional needs?
Yes, we welcome all children into our baby & preschool swimming lessons and when they turn 3 and move up to independent classes, we provide 1-to-1 private lessons or specialised group lessons in partnership with Sparkle.
